Growing and engaging a social audience for The Ark

The Objective

Several months before their launch, Uprated were contacted by The Ark and asked to assist in growing a relevant, engaging, social following.

Through raising brand awareness, the goal was to build a keen customer base ahead of doors opening.

Key Project Features

Within the first few months of the project The Ark had a Facebook following of over 3,000 users.  The Twitter following was also growing and The Ark had built an established audience of local users and complimentary companies.  Monthly competitions were used to maximise the brand exposure which helped retain engagement by drawing back users who would monitor future social posts.

Before the December launch The Ark had a social following of over 4,500 users. Uprated now manage all of their social pages and assist with content creation and the planning of key campaigns.

In 2014 The Ark won Bronze for the Small Visitor Attraction of the year.

The Future

Uprated continue to support the owners of The Ark and have since been appointed to manage the social media pages of The Kitchen. We continue to create engaging social content and drive footfall to The Ark.
